About this Radio

The group rose from Basildon, Essex in the U.K. to worldwide fame via the electronic new wave of the 80's. They subsequently sold 100 million records while establishing themselves as an unlikley stadium act. The passing of keyboardist Andy Fletcher in 2022 might have meant the end of the band, but in March 2023 they re-emerged as a duo with founder members Dave Gahan and Martin Gore carrying the flag.
